I am finally pivoting away from my anti- social media theme since it is kind of “old news” now, and I’m really excited about what I have coming up! However, it is taking longer than usual because I ended up having TWO big ideas around the same time and at least one of them is going to be a multi-part post. And I just have a lot going on!
I have done a LOT of planning and writing for these, and they aren’t quite ready. BUT I did not want anyone thinking I had given up on this thing. Oh no, quite the opposite. I’m digging my heels in and not going anywhere.
In the upcoming series, I plan to ponder over some of the ways that Capitalism steals community from us, how we can reclaim some of what we have lost, and protect what remains. In many ways, things that build community are inherently anti-capitalist (and vice versa)! I think that a lot of what I discuss will kind of spiral around that thread.
So I guess I’m simply writing to thank you, dear reader, for joining me on this little thought journey. And thanks for your patience and grace as I further develop these thoughts into coherent newsletters to bring back here.
I am slowly pivoting to organizing my subscriptions and really trying to invest it reading the writing of thinkers in my network. I will keep my eyes peeled for your emails!
